DAY 01: MUMBAI

Upon arrival our representative will receive you at Mumbai International Airport and escorts you to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Mumbai is the most modern city in India. It is the capital of Maharashtra state, Mumbai is a shopper's delight with bargain buys, exclusive boutiques, ethnic markets and mini bazaars. This busy city is also the hub of a thriving cultural life, with a constant stream of performances in music, dance and drama. The seat of the Hindi film industry, known locally as Bollywood, it produces the largest number of films in the world. Mumbai caters to the adventurous and the romantic through its sporting activities, nightclubs, pubs, theatres, beaches and restaurants. Old and new, rich and poor, classical and modern -- its all here for you to savour and enjoy!

 

DAY 02: MUMBAI

This morning we proceed on a city tour of Mumbai. We will visit Gateway of India - It is the most striking monument of Mumbai. This is designed by George Wittet. It has an imposing gateway arch in the Indo-Saracenic style with Gujarati and Islamic elements such as wooden carvings. It was built to honor the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to India in 1911. This area is also the departing point for ferries plying to Elephanta Island and other beaches across the port. Behind it is the beautiful old (and new) structure of the Taj Mahal Hotel.

 

We will also visit the Elephanta Caves - 9kms by sea. This 7th century rock - cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva are situated on the top a hill on the island. With everlasting memories of the day spend overnight at hotel. Return to the hotel for your stay overnight.

 

DAY 03: MUMBAI – GOA (FLIGHT/TRAIN)

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Goa. Goa is a land that redefines holidays, with its exquisite mix of sun, surf, and beaches. Goa is a tiny emeralds land with its natural scenic beauty, attractive beaches and temples, famous for its architecture, feast and festivals and hospitable people with a rich culture.

 

Meeting and assistance at the airport upon arrival and transfer to the hotel where you will spend your night.

 

DAY 04: GOA

Leave for post-breakfast full day guided tour to explore North and South Goa. Visit Panjim (now Panaji), former capital of Old Goa and now the modern capital city thriving with life. Shop for traditional spices and cashews at the local bazaar. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 05: GOA

Today is your day to spend at leisure and do as you will. Stroll through palm fringed refreshing beaches of Goa, soak up the sun and relax and rejuvenate your senses. Later return to your hotel for your overnight stay.

 

DAY 06: GOA / DEPARTURE

Today you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight for onward destination.
