DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT BANGALORE
Once you arrive in Bangalore, the
capital city of Karnataka, get an assisted transfer to your hotel. Post lunch,
start sightseeing of Bengaluru. You are going to explore a number of tourist
attractions like Bangalore Palace, ISKCON temple, Lal Bagh and Vidhana Soudha.
Back to the hotel for staying overnight.
DAY 02:
BANGALORE - BENNARGHATTA – BANGALORE
On day 2, post breakfast, leave
for Bannerghatta National Park, a popular tourist attraction is also is also
one of the richest natural zoological reserves. During your jungle safari, you
will be able to spot various wildlife species such as Bengal tiger, leopard,
bears and more. In the late evening return back to Bangalore. Rest of the
evening at your own. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03: BANGALORE - MYSORE
After relishing your breakfast,
begin your road journey towards Mysore, popular as “Scotland of India”. After
reaching, check into the hotel. Freshen-up and leave for sightseeing. You will
cover Mysore Palace. Next in line will be a visit to the Chamundi Hill. The
evening is booked for exploring the Brindawan Gardens. The site looks extremely
beautiful with colorful lighted musical fountains. Stay overnight.
DAY 04: MYSORE - RANGANATHITTU - MYSORE
After breakfast on the 4th day of
the tour, leave for a day’s trip to Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Popular as
Paksi Kashi of Karnataka, it is the largest bird sanctuary of the state,
spreading in around 40 kms. Enjoy bird watching at the park where you can spot
as many as 170 avifauna species, Black-headed Ibis, Lesser Whistling Duck,
Indian Shag, Streak-throated Swallows to name a few. Return to Mysore for an
overnight stay.
DAY 05: MYSORE - NAGARHOLE
After breakfast on the 5th day,
proceed to Nagarhole National Park. Located towards the south of Mysore, it is
also known as Rajiv Gandhi National Park. On arrival, check into a jungle
lodge. Enjoy a post lunch jungle safari into the national park that is home to
tiger, Indian bison or gaur and Asian elephants in large numbers. Overnight in
the lodge.
DAY 06: NAGARHOLE
The sixth day is also fixed for
enjoying a morning and an evening wildlife safari into the national park. In
this one of the best well-known national parks of the country, you can spot a
large variety of animals and birds including Russell’s viper, vine snake,
Indian rock python, yellow legged green pigeon and painted bush quail etc.
Overnight in the lodge.
DAY 07: NAGARHOLE - BANDIPUR
Today, you are going to proceed
eastwards to Nagarhole towards Bandipur. After arriving at Bandipur National
Park, one of the most popular national parks of the country, check into a
forest lodge. Embark on a wildlife safari, spotting a large variety of
wildlife. Overnight at forest lodge.
DAY 08: BANDIPUR
Early morning enjoy a nature walk
in the park viewing the lush greenery around you. The day is free for the
activities of your interest. In the evening, go on a wildlife safari into the
Bandipur National Park. You will be able to spot wildlife species such as
Indian elephants, gaurs, tigers, sloth bears, gray langurs, Indian giant
squirrels. Overnight in the lodge.
DAY 09: BANDIPUR - OOTY
Begin your road journey towards
Ooty, after relishing breakfast. Once you reach Ooty, move to your hotel. Post
lunch, you are going to visit tourist attractions such as the Botanical garden,
Doddabetta park. Later, indulge in leisure walk around the tea plantations and
the local market. Night stay at the hotel.
DAY 10: OOTY
The 10th day is for a day’s
excursion to Toda Tribal village. You will enjoy observing the daily activities
of the tribal people, their customs, mannerisms, food, lifestyle and so on.
Indulge in a little chit-chat with the tribal people. The houses that are Toda
huts are quite popular for a special kind of decoration. Return to Ooty for an
overnight stay.
DAY 11: OOTY - COCHIN
Post breakfast; begin your road
journey to Cochin, popular as “Queen of the Arabian Sea”. Once you reach
Cochin, get transferred to your hotel for the check-in formalities. If you want
then you can take a little nap or can enjoy the nearby surroundings on foot.
The evening is booked for enjoying a Kathakali dance performance. Night stay in
Cochin.
DAY 12: COCHIN
The 12th day after the breakfast
is for enjoying sightseeing. You will have a guided to the popular tourist
attraction of the city, You will cover Jewish Synagogue, erected in 1568, this
is the oldest synagogue with a beautiful architecture, St. Francis Church, the
oldest European church in the country, Dutch Palace, also known the
Mattancherry Palace. Here you are going to observe the Kerala murals that
depict the Hindu temple art, portraits as well as exhibits of the Rajas of
Kochi. Spend the night at a hotel.
DAY 13: COCHIN - PERIYAR NATIONAL PARK
Today, get transported to the
very popular Periyar National Park. After arrival, check -in at the hotel. Also
known as Thekkady, it is a popular as an Elephant reserve and a tiger reserve.
In the evening, indulge in bird watching while boat riding on the Periyar Lake.
Dinner around bonfire. Overnight in the hotel.
DAY 14: PERIYAR NATIONAL PARK
On the 14th day of the tour,
embark on a nature walk to explore the lush surroundings of the park. The
afternoon is free for leisure activities. Later, in the evening, again embark
on a wildlife safari where you are going to explore the wildlife of the region
such as the rare lion-tailed macaque, the Nilgiri Langur, Dholes , mongoose,
foxes and leopards, darters, cormorants, kingfishers etc. Overnight stay.
DAY 15: PERIYAR NATIONAL PARK - KOVALAM
Today, by road, get transferred
to Kovalam, a beautiful beach town by the Arabian Sea. On arrival, check into
the hotel. Relax for some time. If you want then you can leave for exploring
the surroundings where you may visit Light House and the Jama Masjid or can
take a ride on the wooden catamaran boat. Overnight stay in the hotel.
DAY 16: KOVALAM
Day 16 is fixed for exploring the
popular beach of Kovalam-Lighthouse beach, Hawah beach and Samudra beach. For
the whole day, enjoy fun activities at the beach. You can take a stroll, can
view the sunset, can observe the fishermen doing their daily chores, can
sunbathe or can just relax by the beach. Night stay in Kovalam.
DAY 17: KOVALAM - CAPE CAMORIN - KOVALAM
After breakfast, leave for a
full- day excursion to Cape Comorin, a popular fishermen’s village, now known
as Kanyakumari. Indulge in sightseeing here where you will cover the beach, the
market for buying souvenirs, Thiruvalluvar Statue etc. Back to Kovalam for an
overnight stay.
DAY 18: TRIVANDRUM DEPARTURE
On the last day of the tour, by
road get transferred to the Thiruvananthapuram Airport to board a flight to
your home destination.
