DAY 01:
DELHI TO SHIMLA (359KMS-8 HRS)
Early
Morning drive to Shimla. Reach Shimla by Late afternoon. Check-in Hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 02:
SHIMLA TO KUFRI TO SHIMLA (02 HRS-34 KMS)
This morning
proceed for a wonderful excursion to Kufri, famous for its trekking and hiking
trails. In Kufri, enjoy a walk through thick cedar woods to Mahasu Peak for an
amazing view of the mighty Himalayas. You could take an enjoyable pony or yak
ride around the park on your own. In the evening visit the Mall Road, Scandal
Point and Christ Church. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 03:
SHIMLA – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Local
sightseeing in and around Shimla, Visit Jakhu Temple - Dedicated to Lord Hanuman,
Jakhu temple is a century old spiritual edifice. Situated at the highest peak
of Jakhu hill. You can visit The Viceregal Lodge - Located on the Observatory
Hill at the western end of the Shimla ridge (4 km), The Viceregal Lodge is a
humongous structure ringed by tall pines. It was built in 1888 as the residence
of Viceroy Lord Dufferin. In the evening on can spend a leisure time on the
Mall Road. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 04:
SHIMLA TO KULLU (210 KMS-6 HRS)
Morning
after breakfast drive to Kullu. On arrival check-in at hotel. Rest of the day
free to explore local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 05:
KULLU MANIKARAN/MANALI (160 KMS-5 HRS)
Morning
after breakfast, drive to visit Manikaran en-route cover Vaishno Devi Temple in
Kullu. Manikaran is an important pilgrimage site as it offers Religious Ram
Temple & Impressive Gurudwara and Hot sulpher spring water.
After visit
drive to Manali. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 06:
MANALI TO SOLANG VALLEY (28 KMS-1 HRS)/MANALI LOCAL
Morning
after breakfast, proceed on an excursion to Solang Valley. Later proceed to
tour of Manali, situated in the Valley of Gods; a combination of natural
splendor and rich cultural heritage. Visit the Tibetan Monastery which houses
several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings. Then the 5000 year old
Hadimba Devi Temple dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, the wife of Bhim of
Mahabharat. It has a four - tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved
with legendary figures and symbols. Later drive to Vashist, a small village
located on the left bank of river Beas renowned for its hot springs and
temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni.
Afternoon, the rest of the day is free for you to simply relax or explore the
city of Manali on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 07:
MANALI TO NAGGAR TO MANALI (2 HRS-40 KMS)
This morning
we take you Nagger [a heritage village]. You may visit the Famous Nagar castle and
Roehrich Art Gallery. Naggar has few ancient villages like Rumsu and heritage
temples. If one has interest can witness these too. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
DAY 08:
MANALI TO DHARAMSHALA (234 KMS)
Morning
after breakfast drive to Dhramshala. Reach Dharamshala by late afternoon. Check
in Hotel Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 09:
DHARAMSHALA
After
breakfast, proceed for a day excursion in Dharamshala. Visit places like:
Mcleod Ganj. Dal Lake, War Memorial, Shrine of Bhagasunath, and enjoy shopping
at the local market. Overnight hotel stay in Dharamshala.
DAY 10:
DHARMASHALA TO DELHI (491 KMS-10 HRS)
Morning
after breakfast drive to Delhi. Reach Delhi by evening.
