DAY 01: ARRIVAL DELHI
Upon arrival you'll be
received by our representative who will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Overnight
stay at hotel.
DAY 02: DELHI
Today, you'll be taken on Delhi
sightseeing trip. You'll be visiting famous tourist attractions including
Gandhi Memorial, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Laxmi Narain Temple and Chandni Chowk.
You'll also visit President House, Parliament House, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus
Temple and Qutb Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 03: DELHI - AGRA
Morning you'll be driven to Agra.
En route you'll stop for paying a visit to Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra. On
reaching Agra, check into a hotel. Relax and unwind for sometime before setting
out to explore the town. Overnight stay at Agra hotel.
DAY 04: AGRA
Today, you'll be visiting the
monuments of Agra. Agra is aptly called the city of emperors. The city remained
the capital of Mughal Empire during the periods of three Mughal emperors,
namely, Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan and sometime during the period of Shah
Jahan's son Aurangzeb. You'll visit the splendid Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Marvel at the gracious Taj and wander around the fort complex paying visits to
Musamman Burj, Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas and Moti Masjid. Overnight stay at
hotel.
DAY 05: RANTHAMBORE
In the morning, you'll be driven
to Ranthambore. En route, pay a visit to Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned town of
Mughal period. Many splendid buildings such as Bulland Darwaza, Tomb of Salim
Chishti, Panch Mahal and Jama Masjid grace this town. Later resume drive to
Ranthambore. On reaching, check into a hotel and stay overnight there.
DAY 06 RANTHAMBORE
Ranthambore is a one of the
largest National Parks and Tiger Reserves in India. Tigers, Chitals, Dhole,
Striped Hyena, Leopards, Nilgai, Sambar, Sloth Bear and Wild Boar inhabit this
spectacular sprawling forest. The park is surely wildlife enthusiasts' heaven.
You'll engage yourself in an exciting jungle safari. Enjoy the sights of wild
animals in their natural habitat. Retire to your hotel after a day full of
adventure.
DAY 07: RANTHAMBORE - JAIPUR
You'll be driven to Jaipur from
Ranthambore. On arrival in Jaipur check into a hotel for overnight stay. Post-lunch,
head for the sightseeing of Pink City. The city is called Pink City due to
expansive use of the color in construction of many of its medieval era
buildings. Jaipur is also famous for its handicraft items and artifacts,
jewelry, fabrics and quilts. Overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.
DAY 08: JAIPUR
After breakfast, you'll set out
for excursion of Jaipur. Explore Jaipur today. You'll be driven to Amber fort,
13 km from the city. The formidable fort is perched on a hill and you'll enjoy
an elephant or jeep ride to reach the gate of the palace from the base of the
hill. Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the city from the fort.
Later, you'll also visit Jantar
Mantar, the royal observatory; the City Palace Complex, a sprawling complex of
myriads of buildings; and Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a fascinating
facade used by royal ladies to witness the street processions in the street
below. A visit to bazaars of city is also a must while in Jaipur. Night stay is
scheduled at hotel.
DAY 09: JAIPUR - UDAIPUR
Today, early morning, start your
drive to Udaipur. Udaipur is often referred to as city of lakes or city of
rising sun. The beautiful city was voted as the best city of the world by
Travel and Leisure magazine in March 2009. On reaching Udaipur, check into a
hotel for night stay, following which, you'll be taken on a sightseeing tour of
the city. Night stay is scheduled at hotel.
DAY 10: UDAIPUR
Today, the day is devoted to
explore the city of Udaipur. You'll be visiting the City Palace, towering above
the lake Pichola; Sahelion ki Bari, a beautiful pavilion garden built for the
maids of honor of the Queen; and Jagdish Temple, an elaborate specimen of
medieval Hindu architecture. In the evening, enjoy an exciting boat ride on the
lake Pichola. Retire to your hotel after a day full of activities and fun.
DAY 11: UDAIPUR – GOA (FLIGHT)
Today, it's time to say adieu to
the royal Rajasthan and move on to the second part of your tour, that is, Goa
beaches. In the morning, you'll be transferred to airport to board a flight to
Mumbai where you'll catch the connecting the flight to Goa. On arriving at Goa,
you'll be transferred to the hotel. Stay overnight in Goa hotel.
DAY 12 – 15: GOA
Today, you'll be savoring the
grandeur of North and South Goa. Visit the Pillar Monastery in Madgaon city,
Colva Beach, Vasco, and harbor. Also visit the Panjim city exploring its
myriads of attractions. The evening will be spent on Miramar and Dona Paula
Beaches. Also visit fabulous churches of Goa. Explore the beaches of Goa. Revel
in the silvery sands and impossibly blue Arabian Sea beyond. Spend the
indulging in beach activities: sunbathing, swimming, water sports, beach games
or simply strolling around the breathtaking surroundings. Also indulge in
shopping at flea markets. Pamper yourself in the Ayurvedic and herbal massages
and titillate your taste buds with the exquisite Goan cuisine. The rave parties
on the beaches are also big draw for the tourists.
Night stays are scheduled at the
hotel.
DAY 16: GOA - MUMBAI
Today, you'll be assisted to
transfer to the airport where you'll be boarding a flight to Mumbai. Mumbai is
a quintessential glamour city of India. Home to Bollywood, Mumbai is also the
celluloid capital of India and one and only hub of entertainment industry. On
arriving, get transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 17: MUMBAI
Morning, embark on the boat ride
from harbor. Head to Elephant caves, the sixth century cave temples. The ornate
carvings and sculptures at Elephanta are the testimony of architectural genius
of prehistoric era. Later, explore the city's monuments and buildings. You'll
visit Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhavan, Crawford Market,
Dhobi Ghat and Hanging Gardens. Retire to your hotel after a full day of
adventurous expedition. Overnight stay is scheduled at hotel.
DAY 18: MUMBAI DEPARTURE
Today is the last day of your
Fascinating Rajasthan and Beach Sojourn. After checking out from the hotel,
you'll be transferred to airport where you'll be boarding the flight back home.
