DAY 01: MUMBAI

After arriving at the Mumbai airport, meet our representative who’ll escort you to your pre-booked hotel. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. After resting for a while in the hotel room, embark on a sightseeing tour of Mumbai. The major tourist hotspots of Mumbai include Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Juhu Beach and Marine Drive. In the evening visit the lively Chowpatty beach. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 02: MUMBAI

Next morning after breakfast, move out for a full day excursion to the Elephanta caves. These caves are located on an island that is situated few miles away from the Gateway of India and can be reached by boarding a ferry. The Elephanta caves comprise of seven caves of which Mahesh Murti cave is of great importance. This rock-cut cave temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. In this cave Lord Shiva is shown as a creator, protector and destroyer. After the visit to these caves return to the hotel in Mumbai for overnight stay.

 

DAY 03: MUMBAI – AURANGABAD (FLIGHT)

Post breakfast, transfer to the Mumbai airport to board a flight to Aurangabad. Upon reaching Aurangabad airport, meet our representative who will escort you to one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while in the hotel room, proceed to explore Ellora caves, one of the world heritage sites. These 34 "caves" – actually are the structures excavated out of the vertical face of the Charanandri hills. These caves are of great importance to Hindu, Jain and the Buddhist people. After the visit return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 04: AURANGABAD

After breakfast enjoy a full day excursion to another World Heritage site - Ajanta Caves. Ajanta Caves are located at a distance of 105 kilometers from Aurangabad. All the paintings in the Ajanta caves show heavy religious influence and centre around Buddha, Bodhisattvas, incidents from the life of Buddha and the Jatakas. Relax for the night at the hotel room.

 

PLEASE NOTE: The Ellora caves are open from sunrise until sunset (around 5.30 p.m.), daily except Tuesdays. The Ajanta caves open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., daily except Mondays. Both caves are open on national holidays. However, try to avoid visiting them then (as well as on weekends) as the crowds can be overwhelming and you won't have a peaceful experience.

 

DAY 05: AURANGABAD – MUMBAI – UDAIPUR (FLIGHT)

Post breakfast, proceed to the Aurangabad airport to board a flight to Mumbai. On reaching Mumbai airport board a connecting flight to Udaipur. Upon reaching Udaipur, check-in at your hotel. Udaipur is known as the 'City of Lakes'. It is among the most sought after tourist destinations of the Indian state of Rajasthan. In the evening after dinner, retire for the night at the hotel.

 

DAY 06: UDAIPUR

Next morning after enjoying a sumptuous breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The major tourist attractions of Udaipur include Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, Jagdish Temple, City Palace and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir. As the sun sets, enjoy a romantic boat ride at Lake Pichola. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

 

DAY 07: UDAIPUR - SARDARGARH

In the morning after breakfast, drive straight to Sardargarh. Stop midway to visit the Nathdwara and the Kankaroli. After the visit resume drive to Sardargarh.  On reaching Sardargarh, get accommodated at the Sardargarh Heritage Hotel. Sardargarh is one of the splendid forts of Rajasthan, placed amidst the mountains and deep forests of Chuppun. Stay the night in the hotel.

 

DAY 08: SARDARGARH - KUMBALGARH - RANAKPUR

Proceed to Ranakpur, and midway visit the magnificent Kumbalgarh Fort and Kumbalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. At the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary catch a glimpse of panthers, sloth bears, wild boars and four-horned antelopes. After the visit resume drive to Ranakpur. On reaching Ranakpur, get accommodated at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while in the hotel room, proceed to visit the famous Jain temples of Ranakpur. Ranakpur is one of the five most important Jain pilgrimage sites of India. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 09: RANAKPUR - JODHPUR

Early in the morning revisit the Ranakpur temples. The group of temples is built out of marble, featuring 108 carved pillars with no two pillars exhibiting similar design. After the visit, continue drive to Jodhpur. Upon reaching Jodhpur, check-in at one of our listed hotels.  The major tourist attractions of Jodhpur include Mehrangarh fort, Umaid Bhavan Palace, Jaswant Thada and the Raj Ka Bag Palace. After the visit return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 10: JODHPUR

Post breakfast, head to guided tour of Jodhpur. The other major attractions of Jodhpur include the Government Museum and the beautiful Umed Garden. Later in the day also visit the Clock Tower. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in the hotel for the night.

 

DAY 11:   JODHPUR – JAIPUR

After breakfast in the morning, drive towards Jaipur. Upon reaching Jaipur, get accommodated to your hotel. Rest and relax in the cozy comfort of your hotel room. In the later part of the day embark on a sightseeing tour of Jaipur. The major tourist attractions of Jaipur include Govindji temple, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Hahal, Moti Doongari and Lakshmi Narayan temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

DAY 12: JAIPUR

The next day begins with an excursion to the Amber Fort which is accompanied with the exciting joy ride on an elephant. The afternoon remains busy with the city tour featuring City Palace along with the Royal Observatory and Hawa Mahal. Later in the day also visit the other major tourist attractions of Jaipur including Jal Mahal, Albert Hall, Sisodia Rani Garden and the Vidyadhar Garden. In the evening return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 13: JAIPUR – AGRA

Post breakfast, transfer to Agra. Stop midway to visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage Site, is an old deserted town of the Mughal Empire. Famous for its architectural brilliance, it houses structures like Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan and the Panch Mahal. After the visit continue drive to Agra. The major tourist attractions of Agra include Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb, Khas Mahal and the Birbal Bhawan. After the visit return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 14: AGRA

After the breakfast, move out on an excursion to Taj Mahal. This seventh wonder of the world was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj mahal is visit by large number of tourist from all corners of the world for its majestic architecture and intricate design. The mausoleum is located on the right bank of the river Yamuna at a point where it takes a sharp turn and flows eastwards. In the evening explore local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

DAY 15: AGRA – GWALIOR

Next morning drive straight to Gwalior. As you reach Gwalior, check-in at your hotel. After resting and relaxing for a while, step out to visit the major tourist attractions of Gwalior covering Gwalior fort, Sas-Bahu temples and the Archaeological Museum.  Later in the evening visit the Phool Bagh, Suraj Kund and the Gujari Mahal. Retire for the night in the hotel.

 

DAY 16: GWALIOR – ORCCHA

In the morning after breakfast proceed to Orchha. En-route visit Jhansi. The major tourist attractions of Jhansi include Government Museum, Jhansi Fort, Rani Mahal and the Ganesh Mandir. After the visit, continue drive to Orccha. On reaching Orccha, get accommodated to your hotel. After resting for a while, move out to visit Jehangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatris. Later in the day explore the Laxmi Narayan temple and Raj Mahal featuring vibrant murals encompassing a variety of religious and secular themes. After the visit return to the hotel. Evening free at your own. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 17: ORCCHA - KHAJURAHO

After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho. On reaching Khajuraho, check-in to your hotel. Take some rest before embarking on a guided tour of Khajuraho. Visit the famous Chandela dynasty temples. These temples are known worldwide for their spectacular erotic sculptures and carvings. Later in the day visit the Western Group of temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu includes Kandariya Mahadeva temple, Matangeshwar temple, Lakshmana temple, and the Varaha temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

DAY 18: KHAJURAHO - VARANASI

Today enjoy a half day excursion to the Eastern Group of temples in Khajuraho. The Eastern Group of temples consist of the Parasvanath Temple, the only Jain temple at Khajuraho, and the Javeri temple devoted to Vishnu. Other temples in this group are dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath. Later, transfer to the Khaujraho airport to board flight for Varanasi. Visit Sarnath on the way to the hotel. Check- in at one of our listed hotels and spend the rest of the day as to your liking. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

DAY 19: VARANASI

Post breakfast, head to enjoy a serene early morning boat ride on the River Ganges. Later in the day embark on a temple tour covering Jantar Mantar, Bharat Mata temple, Ramnagar Museum, Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Durga temple. In the afternoon indulge in shopping and collect exquisite Varanasi silks, brocades and souvenirs. Enjoy an evening Aarti performance on the banks of River Ganges before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

DAY 20: VARANASI – DELHI

In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Varanasi airport to board a flight to Delhi. On reaching Delhi airport, meet our representative who’ll arrange a smooth transfer to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. In the evening, you may take a leisurely walk to explore the pulsating nightlife of Delhi.

 

DAY 21: DELHI

Next morning after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Delhi. The major tourist attractions of Delhi include India Gate, Parliament House, Qutub Minar, Delhi Haat, Lotus temple, Laxmi Narayan temple, Red Fort and the Gandhi Memorial. In the evening revisit Red Fort to witness the impressive light and sound show. Stay the night in the hotel.

 

DAY 22: DELHI / DEPARTURE

Early morning after breakfast, in time transfer to the Delhi airport to board a flight for onward journey.
