Nha Trang is
serviced by Cam Ranh International Airport (code: CXR) which lies 30 Km from
the coastal city. This airport is well connected to major hubs domestically and
internationally. Taxis can be availed to Nha Trang city from the airport. The
city lies close to National Route 1A which is a significant roadway running
from the north to the south of Vietnam. Nha Trang Railway Station situation on
the Reunification Railway line handles all the major trains to the city.
The best
time to visit Nha Trang is from the months of January to Mid-September. In this
period, the days are sunny and pleasantly warm with minimal rainfall, making it
perfect for beachside activities. The average temperature ranges from 20°C to
28°C. From Late September to December, the rainy season hampers tourism and
also experiences the occasional typhoon.

Home to some
of the most beautiful bays in the world, Nha Trang on the coast of Southern
Central Vietnam, is a popular beach resort city. While the fine powdery white
crescent beach is a highlight of the shoreline, regular makeovers have produced
parks, sculpture gardens, bright promenades and beachside luxury resorts.
Activities such as sailboating, kiteboarding, scuba diving are quite popular
here all year due to the excellent weather.
Nha Trang is
equally popular among backpackers and splurgers alike. The streets near and
along the shorelines are home to small boutiques, spas and cocktail bars. Small
diners and street food stalls serve some of the best of seafood of Vietnam;
with the Pulled Pork Summer Rolls being an all-time favourite. At night, the residents
and tourists switch to partying loud on the street bars and clubs late into the
night.
For those looking for a more mellow and laidback experience, the various spas
and mud baths are their perfect calling. More inland in the city, the Cham
Towers, Pagodas and Museums also offer a fantastic easy-going experience for
tourists.
